More and more young people have begun liking hanfu, hopefully one day hanfu styles and qipao styles can become trendy again, so traditional culture can be carried forward. I'm a Chinese youth who loves traditional clothes! (Pics from @她街拍 )

1. [+162] It's not very suitable for wearing on the streets
[+459] Reply: Why is it that people don't find it weird when Japanese people wear kimonos on the streets?
[+415] Reply: Sigh, we've lost all confidence in our culture
2. [+82] Why carry it forward? China spent a few thousand years to go from 0 to 100. You guys want to go back to 0? (T/N: Written in traditional Chinese)
[+383] Reply: Then why are you using traditional Chinese, do you want us to go back to using Bronze inscriptions instead of the current simplified Chinese?
3. [+445] On the streets I wear beizi and liling collars, but not daxiu sleeves (T/N: All hanfu types), it isn't super flashy this way. When taking photos or celebrating traditional holidays I wear daxiu sleeves, I don't think it's inappropriate, they're our own ethnic clothes, why should I be embarrassed

5. [+347] There're lots of people wearing this in Chengdu and Hangzhou! I strongly support!
6. [+105] The most tragic thing about a nation is to not wear their own clothing, know how to speak and write their own language, or learn their own culture. Those who wear Western clothes are always confused why a country with thousands of years of history don't wear their own clothes yet wear other people's clothing. Every nation wears their own clothing, but a nation with years of impact on the world thinks wearing their own clothes is strange, is it that you people are strange or is the world strange?
7. [+70] Currently it's inconvenient to wear this everyday. There needs to be a holiday to wear this
8. [+11] If everyone wears this it's weird, especially during the summer, unless it's for an event or to take photos. I saw someone in hanfu while skateboarding and wearing canvas shoes, I have no idea what they were trying to convey?
9. [+31] There're no pockets, it looks nice but isn't useful
10. [+100] To be really open and accepting is to be welcome of many things, even if you personally dislike something you shouldn't use your standards to measure others. I think that wearing hanfu outside is fine, just like some enjoy wearing skirts and some like pants. Japanese people can wear kimonos outside and even use them as beautiful formal dress, why can't Chinese people wear hanfu? I wish there can be a holiday such as the Mid-Autumn festival, where everyone can wear beautiful hanfu to shop at night markets and give good wishes to each other
